Instructions for Pressure Cover Chin Strap:
Use these instructions as a guideline. No two patients are the same or have the same problems. Do whatever is necessary to make it as easy as possible for them without causing damage or premature wear to the fabric.
Chin straps may be worn as face masks by placing at the chin and pulling over the head and closing Velcro last. Another method is to close the neck portion around the patient’s neck. Pull head strap and back elastic up over the head and set it into place. Adjust ears opening and chin by slipping finger underneath the fabric and setting into place.
