This Post-Graduate 34-Hours Continuing Education Course has been specifically developed to introduce ORTHOTISTS to the Best Practice and International Standards of care for patients with Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, and any Oedema conditions due to a variety of etiologies. The Training consists of thorough research-based theory and hands-on training. 
Completing this course provides you with a Certificate of Completion in the Fundamentals of Bandaging and Compression Garments for Orthotists 
Complete – 4-Hours of Online learning before attending the Hands-on portion of the course. You are able to complete the online theory training in the comfort of your own home or office, which includes online learning modules, reading articles, research, and watching videos. The online curriculum includes up-to-date researched information.

Lymphoedema Management Certification Course

TOTAL 150-hour curriculum: 60-hrs online AND 10-days (90-hrs) in person hands-on learning.
Online lectures remain accessible post-graduation
After completion of the course, you earn the credential CLT (Certified Lymphedema Therapist).

Advanced Lymphoedema Therapy Techniques Review Course

This is a 30-hour specially designed skill-building course for practicing certified Lymphoedema Therapists offered to all certified therapists from ANY 135+ hour course who want to hone their skills to serve patients with Lymphoedema and Lipoedema more effectively.
We will review the Up-to-Date Research Based Principles of MLD, Advanced Multi-layer Compression Bandaging Techniques and Products, Compression Garments – when to recommend flat knit vs. circular knit, Exercises and Instructions in Self-MLD, Self-Bandaging Techniques, Kinesio Taping and much more. This advanced course provides an opportunity for practicing lymphedema therapists to improve and expand upon their Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and compression therapy techniques and update their knowledge of new developments in the treatment of lymphoedema.

Basics of Manual Lymph Drainage

This Basics of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is the perfect course for all health-care professionals looking to upskill and learn more about the topic of Oedema Therapy and Management of medical complications such as lymphoedema and lipoedema will be reviewed. The four–hours of theory will be presented as online e-Learning and completed prior to attending the hands-on course. The Gold Standard Treatment protocol of manual lymph drainage will be explained and reviewed in this 2-day Course. Upon completion, the therapist will be able to differentiate between a variety of peripheral oedemas as well as understand the applications, medical indications, and contraindications of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). The therapist will be able to screen and recognise when a patient requires more intensive medically based Complete Decongestive Therapy – CDT treatment with a certified Lymphoedema Therapy practitioner. A basic review of treatment protocols for individuals with healthy or sluggish lymphatic systems and instruction on how to educate the patient in basic self-care MLD treatment will be provided.

The Fundamentals of Lymphoedema

This course is 50-Hours of training (14-hours of online theory and 36-hours of hands-on training) and has been developed to introduce healthcare practitioners to Internationally recognized best-practice and Gold Standard Treatment for patients with Lymphoedema, Lipoedema, and virtually any Oedema conditions due to a variety of etiologies. The training consists of thorough research-based information.
